Wine is at the heart of what we do at 148@Azabujyuban. Our cellar ranges from young and fresh and affordable to old and very rare, with a particular love for the great producers of Australia and New Zealand alongside classic European estates.

On a daily basis, you'll find an array of wines offered by the glass — perfect for tasting your way through a meal. If you're after something extraordinary or a unique pairing for a special dish, just simply ask. Marcus loves nothing more than reaching into the cellar for something rare.

A rotating selection of six to ten wines by the glass, chosen to complement the current menu. Sparkling, crisp whites, rich whites, light reds and fuller-bodied reds are typically represented. Ask your server for tonight's pours.

Australia & New Zealand

Coonawarra Cabernet, Hunter Valley Semillon, Margaret River Chardonnay, Barossa Shiraz, Yarra Pinot Noir, Central Otago Pinot, Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and a selection of single-vineyard producers from across both countries.

Europe & the world

Burgundy and Bordeaux estates, Northern Rhône Syrah, Mosel Riesling, Tuscan and Piedmontese reds, Champagne grower bottles, Spanish Tempranillo from Rioja and Ribera del Duero, plus rotating discoveries from elsewhere.

Bespoke wine dinners

Marcus regularly holds bespoke wine dinners and tastings to share his extensive knowledge and passion. These are intimate, multi-course events designed around a region, producer or theme. See upcoming events  or  contact us to be added to the list.
